Polymorfa vs Sent

Sent is one API for SMS, WhatsApp and RCS, billed per person messaged each month, with idempotency keys, signed webhooks and SDKs in seven languages. Polymorfa goes deeper on WhatsApp: linked-device numbers, groups, channels and calls.

Choose Sent if

  • You reach the same person over SMS, WhatsApp and RCS and want routing and fallback.
  • You message many people a few times each, so a per-contact meter fits.
  • You need SOC 2 Type II today.

Choose Polymorfa if

  • WhatsApp is your main channel and you need groups, channels or linked-device numbers.
  • You send many messages per number, so a per-number-day charge fits better than per contact.
  • You need WhatsApp voice and video calls, with SIP.
Routes

One contract for both WhatsApp routes.

Z-API and ClickAPI document linked-device numbers. 1MSG, Sent and NotificaMe document the official API. Green API sells both, as separate products with separate docs.

Polymorfa sends and reacts through the same API on both routes, so moving a customer between them does not mean a second integration.

Both WhatsApp routes arrive through one contract. Moving a number between routes does not mean rewriting your integration.
Reliability

Retries that cannot send twice.

Send with an Idempotency-Key and Polymorfa replays the original result for 24 hours instead of sending again. Webhooks carry an HMAC-SHA256 signature and retry up to 8 times over about 41 hours.

Among the APIs here, Sent documents both. Green API authenticates webhooks with a static token header rather than a payload signature.

A retried send returns the first result instead of sending twice. Every webhook carries a signature your server can verify.

Number health

See trouble before a number goes down.

BanSafe Health scores each production linked-device number from 0 to 100 with versioned rules, and shows the deductions behind the score. A project rule can slow sending, stop the number, log it out, email you or send a webhook when Health drops.

Health is an estimate, not a guarantee. It never reads message content, and no provider can prevent every WhatsApp restriction.

Pricing

Billed for online days.

Per-instance plans charge for a whole month. Polymorfa charges for the days a number is online, so numbers that go offline stop costing money.

Green API and Z-API publish lower monthly prices for a number that is online every day. Compare with your own uptime and volume.
